Scrapz.biz
Scrapz.biz is an Australian online scrapbooking and card making store which is based in Toowoomba, Queensland.

We are an active site which offers a wide range of weekly as well as monthly challenges and competitions.

We are looking for designers who have the ability to:

- create fun, creative and innovative weekly and monthly challenges

- create on-line tutorials

- participate in Virtual Crops

- chat and interact with members in the gallery and forum

- work to tight deadlines

- take clear photos of their work

- prepare samples for competitions


We offer our designers:

- a monthly allowance of $50 to purchase materials from the store to prepare samples

- a generous 40% discount on any other materials from the shop for your personal usage

- a fun team of girls to work with

- promotion of your work through our site


If you think that you are the person we are looking for, please e-mail us a link to your blog and any galleries which feature your work and answer the following questions:


- How long have you been scrapping for?

- What is your favourite product line?

- How would you describe your style?

- Do you scrap mainly 12x12 or other sizes?

- Do you enjoy cardmaking?

- Have you held previous DT positions ?

Jules did an unreal job this month with that sketch, its a little beauty. You have until the end of the month to submit one, thats still a whole 2 weeks yet, so head on over and have a go.. also while your there check out the blog as well where we have announced the design teams for 2011-2012. There is also an inspirational challenge each month there as well and let me tell you that they are so much fun to do !!  So head on over and check it out for yourself !

Scrap that Song is a new scrapping challenge site, now in their second month-we have wicked sponsors on board, and would love to see what you can do with a song ! Everyone is inspired by something - songs inspire us, so come along and give it a go ! Entries are due by 30th September, so get creating now !

SCRAPBOOKIT’S JULY/AUGUST CHALLENGE

This months Layout challenge is all about 'CHRISTMAS', the twist on our Christmas in July is that you must use NON TRADITIONAL colours and products. Lets see how creative you can be and catch up on your chrissy photos. You must also base your layout on the this wonderful sketch by our own Monica Brady, which was published in the latest Scrapbooking Memories magazine.

Continuing with our CHRISTMAS IN JULY theme, this months card challenge is to get a head start on your christmas cards and create a 'SET OF 3' cards. They may be made of any product but they should be a similar design to create the set.

You have until the 14th of August to get your entries in, by e-mailing them to Joanne or dropping them in-store.

I look forward to seeing your wonderful creations which will be displayed in the gallery at SCRAPBOOKIT

I have been posting more recently on our facebook page sonme events as it reaches a bigger audience and it is able to be quickly updated. So please forgive me if it seems i have neglected here as of late.
